Welcome to Valley Forum. In order to make your stay as pleasant and constructive as possible please take your time to read through this document, it will help you navigate the pits and traps this community has created for new members. Wink These rules can be changed without notice though normally we announce changes via announcement in all the forums.

) Use the search function before posting. Chances are your question has already been answered or your point has already been made.

) Respect the netiquette: Lurk and get to know the forum before you post.

) Keep the focus: posts outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be deleted.

) Be nice to each other and respect the administrator and moderators. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to the respective moderator and if the moderator can't help you send a private message to Fraydog.

) Do not spam. No blatant advertising.

6) All copyright rules must be observed. Violations of local, state, US, and international copyright laws will be strictly observed by forum moderators and the site administrator.

) Keep the size of personal images down.

) No cross posting. Post your message once, to the appropriate forum and nowhere else or it will be locked or deleted without warning.

) Use a title that describes the content of your post. Don't use all caps or special characters to draw attention.

) Don't post just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post. The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the knowledge and posting ability of a member.

) How NOT to post on this forum:

Come out flaming or trolling at post 1. You do that, you are asking to get banned quick. Also, check the ignore list of experienced members and don't do the things that got people on the lists of those members.

) Do not insult schools, posters, players, league officials, school administrators and presidents, moderators, or the site administrator. Doing so repeatedly is grounds for sanctions such as suspension from posting and expulsion from the site altogether.

) Multiple registrations are prohibited and are grounds for immediate account deletion.

) Instructions by the moderator team are to be followed.

) Threads started for the express purpose of slamming another poster, another school, or another school’s city are prohibited and will be deleted.

) If a thread has been locked by the moderators, any new threads that attempt to continue the part of the discussion that caused the previous thread to be locked will be deleted.

) Posting of any personal information about another poster that he/she has not previously posted on the board will not be tolerated. Posting of things that you know to be false will not be allowed. If you want to start a vicious rumor about a coach, a player, or another poster, this is not the place to do it.

) Profanity will not be tolerated. It is very likely that there are younger-age fans reading these boards. Keep it clean. That includes pictures and links.

) It is the duty of good posters to report posts that are over the line to the moderation team.

) Any questions about the moderation of the board when it is regarding why post x was edited, moved, or deleted is to be done via PM or e-mail to one of the site moderators. If the decision of a moderator is under dispute, the site administrator, Fraydog, is the final authority on whether a post is in compliance with the rules of Valley forum.

If you don't comply with these rules you'll have to face a set of sanctions, such as reduced posting privileges, posting suspensions, or permanent expulsion from Valley Forum. The final authority of these matters is Fraydog and his decisions on such matters are final.
